The SRQ Arts and Culture One Book

Sarasota’s legacy to the cultural arts captures not only the creative soul and identity of this vibrant coastal city, but its superb quality of life. Pioneers to this vision were two of the area’s founders and arts patrons, John and Mable Ringling, who paved the way for the creation of The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Today, Sarasota has become a thriving arts mecca, a feast for the arts enthusiast—from repertory theatre and a symphony orchestra to new music and contemporary plays, from ballet and modern dance to fine art and opera.

CONVERGE: The SRQ Arts and Culture One Book is the result of a partnership alliance formed by SRQ Media Group with the six top producing performing and visual arts institutions. The vision of this annual book is to create a singular arts book that represents the arts community as a whole. CONVERGE brings cross-collaboration synergies to each participating arts organization by creating an anchor for combined visibility. Partner distribution through the area’s finest arts organizations puts CONVERGE in the hands of the area’s most involved arts patrons.
