On Ideas, an advertising and branding agency established in 2005, announced it has acquired Sarasota-based C•Suite Communications, effective January 1.  C•Suite, which has become a division of On Ideas, will maintain its office in Sarasota and will serve as the influencer marketing, social media, PR and crisis management division of the combined agency.

Together, the agencies with a team of 35 professionals, will provide clients expanded capabilities in the core disciplines of brand consultancy and advertising, in-house digital and video content production, media distribution strategy, and reputation management and influencer engagement.

According to West Herford, CEO of On Ideas, this acquisition is 1+1=3. “You can’t succeed in marketing without the third-party credibility of influential people and exceptional social media activation. Patricia Courtois has built an impressive agency with expertise in these areas, and this move makes us a greater force within the industry by strengthening our ability to help brands succeed socially and digitally.”

Patricia Courtois will remain as president and CEO of C•Suite and will take on the role of executive vice president and chief client officer of On Ideas. “I couldn’t be happier with this new direction for C•Suite,” she said.  “On Ideas is a perfect complement to our team and we are excited about merging with this talented and experienced group of professionals.”

The agencies are both members of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), where principals Patricia Courtois and Tom Bolling met and served together on the Board of Governors of the 4As Florida Council.
