Sarasota County Commission: The board meets Tuesday for a workshop on economic efforts in Newtown and to discuss the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority regarding future local Sarasota County funding participation. There will also be budget hearings on fire station and park facility funding. The workshop begins at 9am at the Sarasota County Administration Center in Sarasota.
Manatee County Commission: The board meets Tuesday for a work session, including a joint session on Children's Services and a discussion of Footsteps to Brilliance. The workshop begins at 9am at the Manatee County Administrative Center in Bradenton.
