The graph, released in the 2015 SCOPE Community Report Card, shows the percentage of elementary, middle and high school teachers in Sarasota County who hold master's, doctorate or specialist degrees; all are required to hold bachelor's degrees. While Sarasota continues to have a strong majority of teachers holding advanced degrees, there was a sharp dip in the 2011-2012 school year.
