This month, commercial construction company Halfacre Construction Company, broke ground on a new 7,200-square-foot building for the Manatee County Utilities Department in Bradenton. Slated for completion in July 2017, the building will house Manatee County's growing staff at the utilities department and several conference rooms. The structure has been designed to meet the maximum energy code in Florida, with the roof and building ready for future solar panels. Located at 4410 66th St. W, the pre-engineered metal building will be constructed with masonry, stucco, aluminum storefront windows, railings and an aluminum canopy.
