Duffy’s Sports Grill will open its first Sarasota location on Friday, March 10 at 11am, on the birthday of Paul Emmett, the company’s late founder and owner. Located at 3005 University Pkwy, this will be the company’s 34th location and fourth restaurant in Southwest Florida. To celebrate, the restaurant will host Grand Opening festivities every weekend during the month of March, beginning on March 10. The new 6,000-square-foot restaurant will feature more than 80 60-inch high definition flat screen TVs broadcasting all satellite sports action, seating for 275 patrons, 20 beers on tap, plus two large cocktail and bar areas complete with upscale décor and sports memorabilia. The restaurant will feature freshly prepared, made-from-scratch dishes such as the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, award-winning Certified Angus Beef half pound burgers, CAB Prime steaks, baby back ribs, wild Alaska salmon and a wide variety of signature salads. Guests will also be able to enjoy signature cocktails such as the Cotton Candy Cosmo, Gummy Bear Martini and a Godiva White Chocolate Peep-tini.
