Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC, an Atlanta-based CPA firm offering audit, accounting, and tax services for nearly 100 years, has announced the appointment of a new partner in its Bradenton office with Melodie A. Rich of Bradenton, FL. A CPA, Rich has over 20 years of experience in providing a wide range of both individual and business tax services. She specializes in estate and gift taxes, including income tax planning for trusts and estates. Rich is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of Manatee County, Inc. She currently serves on the board of Realize Bradenton and Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida Council. She is a member of the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council and also serves on the board of Estate Planning Council of Manatee County. Rich is a graduate of Leadership Sarasota, Leadership Manatee and is a member of the FICPA and the AICPA.
