Pineapple Yoga Studio has created a community yoga initiative aimed to serve at-risk and underserved communities in Sarasota, and is seeking candidates for specialized yoga scholarships for three of these programs. The Accessible/Addaptive Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship is a specialized yoga teacher training program aimed to offer yoga for those with/out a mental, physical, visual disability. The Prison Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship is a specialized yoga teacher training program aimed to bring the wisdom of yoga to incarcerated communities, and juveniles in particular. This program serves the Bradenton Juvenile Detention Center. And the Yoga for Recovery Y12SR Teacher Training Scholarship is a specialized yoga teacher training aimed to bring the wisdom of yoga to those struggling with addiction, alcohol moderation and sobriety. RYT200 certification or an interest in getting certified as a yoga instructor is required for all applications.
