BACVB Combats Red Tide Effects with Restaurant Month

As part of a concerted effort to drive business to the coastal restaurants that were hit hardest by the economic downturn resulting from the recent red tide bloom off of the Gulf, the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (BACVB) announced it will launch a Restaurant Month, running October 1–31. Throughout the month, the BACVB will promote “30 Day Deals” offered by participating local restaurants to not only showcase the flavors of the Bradenton Area, but also to reinforce that these eateries (and nearby attractions) are open for business and should be a top choice this fall and beyond.
