SCF Hosts Workshop on Innovation and Creativity

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a half-day workshop on innovation, creativity and continuous improvement from 8am to noon, February 1 at SCF Lakewood Ranch. The workshop is designed to use discussions and activities to help participants cultivate a mindset that will encourage developing new ideas. Jamie Marco of Evolve Business Consulting and Larry Face, executive coach, leadership expert and president of Next Level Achievement, will facilitate the workshop. Discussions include what characteristics define an innovator; what blocks innovation, creativity and continuous improvement; and how to develop a supportive team environment. Participants will also learn about the tools they need to enhance their ability to be more innovative, including mind mapping and brainstorming techniques.
The cost of the four-hour workshop is $149 per person or $125 per person for groups of 3 or more. Space is limited to 20 participants.
