Business

SaraSolo was awarded a $10,000 Grant to fund its educational outreach program "SoloSynergy" for another year. The gift is dedicated solely to in-school collaborations with Booker Middle School and the Booker High School VPA programs. The grant will be used to bring "SoloSynergy" to more schools in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties, to create a "Dream Space" where performers might develop and hone a new solo work in a creative atmosphere with other like minded artists, the grow programs to reach the legacy population of adults who are 60+ in age to participate in inter-generational workshops, obtain a home page with office, meeting and rehearsal rooms and to create programming for elementary school students.
