More than 1,000 ultimate players from North, Central and South America have traveled to Sarasota County to compete in the week-long Pan American Ultimate Championship (PAUC), being held at the Sarasota Polo Club. The tournament includes multiple divisions, including men, women and mixed. Game play takes place from 9 am until approximately 1:30 pm each day, giving locals and visitors an opportunity to attend for free and enjoy watching this niche sport in Sarasota County. The event is sanctioned by the World Flying Disc Federation and hosted by Oshadega LLC, an ultimate events production company.
