82nd Annual De Soto Heritage Festival Grand Parade Given Go-Ahead by Local Officials

Bradenton Mayor Gene Brown and the Hernando De Soto Historical Society today announced that the annual De Soto Heritage Festival Grand Parade has been given the green light by City and County officials. The De Soto Grand Parade will take place on Saturday, April
the 24th, and will step off from Manatee High School at 7pm. This year’s parade is entitled “A Salute to Our Healthcare Hero’s” and will honor the healthcare workers who braved the COVID epidemic to care for the area’s sick. The parade will also feature a large contingent of veterans from our nation’s military.
