Newly-launched Sarasota company, Optamiz Health, hopes to bring people back to the basics of health and wellness using plant-based nutrition. On September 18, 2021, Optamiz Health is hosting a live and virtual Plant-based Jumpstart.
The Plant-Based Jumpstart is designed for everyone. Studies show plant-based diets benefit individuals who suffer from conditions such as high blood pressure, inflammation, elevated cholesterol, type II diabetes, obesity, and leaky gut. It is also shown to be a positive step in the treatment of such conditions as autoimmune disorders, chronic Illness, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's Disease, multiple sclerosis, and inflammatory bowel syndrome (IBD). It is also used for sport and fitness-based recovery.
Optamiz Health founder and nutrition expert Heather Hackett brings 20 years of experience as an author, trainer, and featured sports and nutritional writer to this organization. Co-founder, Dr. Ken Kaufman, a chiropractor in practice for 28 years and the spring training team chiropractor for two major league baseball teams sees the positive results of wholistic treatments and plant-based nutrition. They created the Optamiz app, the Optamiz Your Health podcast, and the “Plant-Based Jumpstart” program on Optamiz.com.
“We are so excited to launch Plant-Based Jumpstart and be a part of transforming the lives of our community near and far,” Hackett stated. “It is never too late to make a change for the better when it comes to nutritional health.
