From flowing nude silks to slick wide-leg trousers, micro bags to geisha-esque platforms, the Spring 2017 runways were full of understated and polished charm. Prabal Garung’s neutral-hued satiny collection closed with a trio of pantsuits while Jason Wu rounded up his show with sheer blushes and petal pinks. Rachel Comey took a cue from New York street style with an eclectic mix of wearable pants and Parisian Fashion Week darlings Dries van Noten and Stella McCartney sent slews of conceptual trousers both wide and straight, cropped and textured down their catwalks. Lace and tulle bell sleeves swooped back and forth at Chloé and stripes were queen at Proenza Schouler and Rag & Bone.
