During the scorching summer months in south Florida, coffee addicts make the switch from hot to iced, but at what cost? The heat quickly melts the ice, diluting the coffee and leaving one’s drink waterlogged. The Clever Cup has come up with a creative solution to this problem, while adding an extra jolt. Ice cubes made out of coffee rather than water cool down that iced latte while slowly adding an extra shot or two, ensuring that the last sip is as strong and flavorful as the first. Many customers have started adding these coffee cubes, rather than a shot of espresso, to an iced chai latte, in order to make a dirty chai. A year and a half after they were introduced, these little cubes of energy are as popular as ever.
