Admiral Travel International, a boutique Virtuoso-member travel agency located in downtown Sarasota received the ultimate royal treatment on Saturday May, 19th. Proprietor and CEO Malaka Hilton, puddle-jumped across the Atlantic this past weekend to attend the Royal Wedding in Windsor, England, and brought a small group of invited guests along with her. Hilton accompanied her ATI clients and fully immersed them in the historic atmosphere of the Windsor Castle, a royal residence in the English county of Berkshire where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now known as the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, joined in regal matrimony.

The lucky group of ladies experienced an up close and personal vantage point for the celebrations, as Hilton reserved special accomodations at the Horse and Groom Pub, located directly across from St George's Chapel on the Windsor Castle grounds. The Sarasota jetsetters were in the heart of the action—toasting champagne amongst fellow admiring spectators in honor of the Royal family’s newest bride and groom. The event surrounding the Royal Wedding was organized exclusively for VIP guests through Virtuoso—the travel network of organizations which allows travel advisors to book exclusive perks and upgrades only offered to members, such as Admiral.

“As billions around the world witnessed on TV and online, it was certainly a fairytale wedding, but the entire experience surrounding the ceremony at Windsor Castle was surreal,” said Hilton. “We were within 10 feet of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they rode by in their open-topped Ascot Landau horse-drawn carriage during the wedding procession. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day that allowed the newlyweds to slowly pass by waving to all the well-wishers.” Hilton added, “This is the exact type of access and personalized experience our guests have come to envision, seek out through our ATI advisors and cherish when our team makes their dreams come true."
