PGT Innovations Donates to Local Schools with SchoolTools

Business

More than 25 team members and leaders at PGT Innovations' North Venice location worked together to assemble and deliver SchoolTools backpacks to make a difference in the lives of local children in need through World Vision, a global Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. This year, PGT Innovations donated 250 backpacks, totaling $6,000. Its employees, who have participated in this program for nine years, filled the backpacks with a sweet note of encouragement and supplies, such as pens, pencils, notebooks, binders, filler paper, pencil pouches, folders, pencil sharpeners, erasers, rulers, crayons, glue sticks, scissors and markers. The backpacks were distributed to students at East Elementary School in Charlotte County. Across the country, businesses, schools and groups of all kinds are joining the SchoolTools campaign.
