The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Health Services Administration has announced the inaugural Masters in Public Health (MPH) class starting May 30, 2019. Donald Simpson, Ph.D., M.P.H., has been appointed the MPH program director and he brings three decades of public-health experience facilitating community wellness, conducting epidemiology research and providing graduate-level educational leadership.

The MPH program curriculum is delivered through a web-based, online education platform by an expert team of faculty with deep public-health expertise. The fully accredited 45-credit hour master’s degree program is completed one course at a time with student access available around the clock. This 24-month degree is specifically designed for working professionals who wish to continue to work full-time while completing their formal educations.

The MPH degree is the third master’s-degree program offered through the LECOM School of Health Services Administration, which also includes the Master of Science in Biomedical Ethics and the Masters in Health Services Administration.
