During October, the staff of the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller acknowledged Domestic Violence Awareness Month by collecting 374 books to benefit children visiting itsViolence Protection division.The donations will be placed in Domestic Violence, Family and Child Support Program waiting areas for children visiting the office. Contributions were made to the Violence Protection division inside the Manatee County courthouse or at any of the Manatee County Clerk of Court’s historical sites, such as theFlorida Maritime Museum,Manatee County Agricultural Museum,Manatee County Historical Records Library,Manatee Village Historical Park andPalmetto Historical Park.
