The Sarasota Ballet Fall Digital Season

Arts & Culture

The Sarasota Ballet commences their 30th Anniversary Season with their first-ever Digital Program, an innovative method of delivering world-class ballet to the comfort of your home. The Ashton ballets and extracts scheduled to be performed in Digital Program 1 are: Méditation from Thaïs; Monotones II; extracts from Façade; the balcony pas de deux from Romeo & Juliet; La chatte métamorphosée en femme; the Vision Scene from The Sleeping Beauty; and extracts from Les Patineurs. In addition, Digital Program 1 brings you behind the scenes with rehearsal footage as well as coaching with Sir Anthony Dowell, revered British ballet dancer and former Artistic Director of The Royal Ballet. Digital Program 1 will be available to watch 23-27 October 2020, on most internet-connected devices – through a desktop, laptop, smartphone, tablet, or even television.
