Elisabeth Trostli, Art Uptown’s November featured artist, connects imagination, visual vocabulary and technology as she transforms the centuries-old playing card template to a contemporary statement. According to the artist, “During the months of quarantine, I got really involved with the concept of creating original digital paintings for publication as a custom deck of Oracle playing cards. The challenge unleashed my imagination."  "Pick a card, any card" at Art Uptown, located at 1367 Main Street, Sarasota, open Monday through Friday, 11am to 5pm, Saturday, 11am to 3pm and Sunday 12pm to 5 pm.
