JFSC Presents Stand Down for Homeless Veterans Events This Weekend

The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee (JFCS)'s 2021 Stand Down event will occur at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 26 from 8 am to 12 pm. All local unhoused veterans are encouraged to attend this event to receive support with veteran benefits claims and Amnesty Court. Veterans will also receive free physical exams, haircuts, clothing and other daily essentials. The Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) and the Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) are providing free transportation to all veterans with a valid ID.
