Inaugural St. Armands Circle Arts Event Set to Premiere Saturday

Things To Do

St. Armands Circle’s summer happening series, “Sol of the Circle,” will crescendo this Saturday, September 18 with Sarasota Arts LIVE, a first-of-its-kind arts-focused event highlighting local performers, musicians and visual artists.  The inaugural event, organized in collaboration with the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota, will host notable pillars of the Sarasota arts community, including the West Coast Black Theatre Troupe, Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota, Jazz Club of Sarasota, Florida Studio Theatre and national recording artist, The Alan Grant Band. This free-to-attend event, scheduled from 11 am to 2 pm, will be held within St. Armands Circle’s sprawling center park. Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and arrive early to secure their spot.

Sarasota Arts LIVE will mark the near conclusion of St. Armands Circle’s Sol of the Circle series, a four-month calendar of recurring and unique events hosted around the renowned shopping district. The summer-long celebration was an effort by the St. Armands Circle Association and St. Armands Business Improvement District to invite locals and tourists alike to come out to the Circle.
