Giving Tree Wishes

The Giving Coast

This past Tuesday, January 28th, SRQ Magazine hosted the annual Giving Coast and Good Hero Philanthropic Awards Luncheon. Local nonprofits, foundations, corporate donors, individuals and civic leaders came together to celebrate the community's spirit of giving and recognize leaders in philanthropy. Attendees were invited to share their “giving wishes” on behalf of area nonprofits by writing their wishes on gift tags and hanging them for display on the SRQ Giving Wish Tree.

NAMI Sarasota-Manatee wishes for a wind/rain canopy to cover the benches in their outside waiting area. To help fulfill this wish contact Jake Hartvigsen (941-650-6043).

Operation Warrior Resolution wishes for community foundations to add veteran non-profits to their grant & donation criteria. To connect with Operation Warrior Resolution, reach out to Kendra Simpkins (kendra@operationwarriorresolution.org).

Resilient Retreat, INC. wishes to underwrite a 2-day trauma training for First Responders. To help facilitate this contact Lisa Intagliata (lintagliata@resilientretreat.org).

Pines of Sarasota Foundation wishes to have continuous support and expansion of healthcare education programming. To help make this wish come true, reach out to Terri Arnell (tarnell@pinesfoundation.org),

Brand New Chapters wishes to have a sponsor for a new library. To get this library started, reach via email (brandnewchaptersinc@gmail.com).
