The 1772 Foundation, a national leader in historic property redevelopment funding, has awarded the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation (SAHP) a $25,000 grant to support SAHP’s innovative Sarasota Preservation Program, which empowers homeowners to restore and maintain historic properties, safeguarding the region’s architectural heritage. This marks the foundation’s second grant to SAHP and aligns with its nationwide commitment to Historic Properties Redevelopment Programs—an effort that leverages real estate strategies to rehabilitate and preserve endangered historic structures.
