DYNAMIC LUNCHEON SYMPOSIA CONVERSATIONS ON REGIONAL TOPICS

SB2 | TRANSFORMATION IN PHILANTHROPY AND CHANGE AGENTS AWARDS LUNCHEON
UPDATED DATE: THURSDAY, MARCH 10, 2022 |  11AM REGISTRATION— 11:30-1PM PROGRAM
THE HYATT REGENCY, SARASOTA

The SB2 Transformation in Philanthropy luncheon and panel discussion will explore how nonprofits ride the wave of change, particularly after a year of extreme change. We speak to the Change Agent Award Honorees to find out how they embraced and catalyzed change to transform their organizations — from mission, programming and community partners to communications, positioning and donor development.

The Change Agents in Philanthropy Awards 2022

SRQ MEDIA recognizes nonprofits who have the ability to lean into change in the face of either challenge or opportunity. The Change Agents in Philanthropy Awards focus on the capacity of the independent sector to be innovative in the face of change in fundraising, donor cultivation and development, mission, programming, branding and visibility and operations. We invite the community to nominate local nonprofits, local nonprofit programs and individuals who have embraced change and leveraged innovative thinking, strategies and practices in engaging their organization to more powerfully realize its mission.

This is a “by invitation only” competition where we invite only nonprofits to submit an application. There are no nominations.

SB2 LUNCHEONS

SB2 is a community, philanthropic and business initiative comprised of a series of three annual luncheons devoted to key regional topics in philanthropy and the economy. SB2 focuses on the collaboration between Sarasota and the Bradenton Area and catalyzes relevant and future-focused regional dialogue through a keynote presentation and facilitated panel discussion with regional representatives from both counties and nationally on topics impacting our local economy.

Each luncheon features an in-depth keynote presentation from a notable regional expert in the field who joins the panel to expand on the context of the topic and deliver fresh perspective on how our community fits into the broader picture of the state, region and country. Adding to the engagement-centric atmosphere, SB2 will also feature an awards ceremony during each luncheon celebrating local changemakers, passionate localpreneurs and philanthropic good heros. Topics, opening presentations, panelists and speakers will be confirmed one to two months in advance of the symposium date as relevant community dialogue evolves.
