Jacobs Family Start Scholarship for SCF Business Students

Kyle and Pamela Jacobs of Fairway Funding Group Mortgage Lender have created a new scholarship for State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) business and finance students. The scholarship is for first time in college students who enroll in a degree-seeking program at SCF. They should be eligible to receive in-state tuition, have a 3.0 grade point average and be employed at least 10 hours a week. The scholarship will be awarded to two students per year in the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. The Jacobs' goal is to support students who are enrolled at a local college. They chose SCF for its philosophy of promoting internships and reputation of helping graduates find jobs.
