Sarasota Memorial Health Care System welcomed a new OB/GYN to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network and community. Dr. Julianne Kenton-Haney joined FPG’s Obstetrics and Gynecology practice with Drs. Michael Finazzo and Maureen Maguire. She comes to Sarasota from Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, where she served as an associate professor in Florida State University’s residency program and an attending physician for five years. Kenton-Haney earned her master’s degree at Harvard University and her medical degree at Jagiellonian University in Poland. She returned to the states to complete an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University in 2005 and completed an OB-GYN residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2010. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and Sarasota County Medical Society.
