SRQ Airport Opens Shaded Parking Lot

The Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority (SMAA) has announced the opening of the recently constructed outdoor shaded parking lot at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) to the public. The parking lot is located on the east side of the terminal and provides shaded parking spaces for about 300 vehicles. The parking rate in the shaded parking lot will be the same as short-term parking rates at SRQ (daily maximum $15). The new lot has an automated exit which will only accept credit cards as payment, and will not utilize staffed exit booths. People entering the lot will take a ticket and use a credit card when exiting. An intercom system will be available in case of an emergency. Signage to the covered parking lot was installed on Airport Circle.
