Sarasota County Schools Hosts Digital Town Hall

Sarasota County Schools will be holding its latest Digital Town Hall from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday, October 10. Emceed by TV personality Adam Cellini, the evening will focus on the importance of civility, the value of preventative care like counseling and therapy, ways to reach emotional well-being and how the community and schools can partner together and provide wraparound care for Sarasota’s children and families. Viewers will be able to ask questions and join in the conversation live through the district’s Facebook page and Twitter handle. Guest panelists will include: Dr. Todd Bowden, Superintendent of Sarasota County Schools; Veronica Thames, Senior Vice President of Talent & Innovation and Chief Operating Officer, Gulf Coast Community Foundation; Kirsten Russell, Director of Community Investment, Community Foundation of Sarasota County; and John Annis, Senior Vice President of Collaboration & Impact and Chief Operating Officer, Barancik Foundation.
