Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams’ brand-new University Town Center scoop shop is now open. This is Jeni’s first ever scoop shop in Sarasota. The team at the UTC shop has been gearing up to bring Jeni’s one-of-a-kind ice cream flavors to the neighborhood—from signature classics like Gooey Butter Cake, dairy-free flavors like Dark Chocolate Truffle and the brand-new Buttercream Birthday Cake. Most recently, Jeni’s went viral for an Everything Bagel flavor (it even had onions and garlic). “We couldn't be more excited to be opening our first scoop shop in Sarasota,” says Jeni Britton Bauer. “And I love the design of this shop so much. We don’t always have so much room to work with, but we took full advantage and loaded the shop with as much color and seating for gathering (when we can all do so again safely) as possible. We’re thrilled to be part of the community at University Town Center.”
