National Law Firm Expands its Civil Litigation and Appellate Practices

mctlaw announces the addition of two attorneys to our expanding litigation, trial, and appellate law practices. Tamara J. Williams and Benjamin Christian join the Firm’s Sarasota, FL office.

Tamara J. Williams, joins mctlaw as an experienced litigator and trial attorney. Ms. Williams has served as lead counsel in over 50 county and circuit court cases as a former public defender in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Ms. Williams has also spent much of her career focusing on personal injury, worker's compensation, real estate, and family law. She joins mctlaw’s product liability team, representing clients who have been injured by multi-national corporations. Ms. Williams sits on the Sarasota County Bar Association (SCBA) Board of Directors and is heavily involved with the SCBA’s Council for Diversity and Inclusion.

Benjamin Christian comes to mctlaw after serving as a Captain in the Army JAG Corps. He served 4 years of active-duty service with deployments to Iraq and Kuwait. Mr. Christian was Chief of the Federal Litigation Division at Fort Bragg, NC. He worked as a trial attorney in the federal courts and advised on federal employment regulations and land use agreements. He created legal processes to reintroduce armed civilian contractors in Iraq and helped more than 600 soldiers with estate planning before deployment. Mr. Christian practices in the Firm’s Appellate and Business Law groups.
