Public Survey to Inform Brand Refresh for City of Sarasota Launches March 8

Government

The City of Sarasota is seeking public input through a brief online survey to inform its logo and seal rebranding effort. The City has partnered with DreamLarge, the first registered benefit corporation on the Gulf Coast of Florida, to design the survey and better understand how the community sees Sarasota. This survey is the first step in a six-month process, which will include a range of community engagement efforts including a future design competition for the City Seal. The survey will gauge the overall public sentiment toward the City’s brand identity, and responses will inform the creative direction of the outcome. “As Sarasota evolves, so does the City’s brand,” said Sarasota Mayor Erik Arroyo. “Our image should reflect the vibrancy of Sarasota to the greater community and the world. Our image should reflect our standing as a top destination, as a cultural hub, as an innovation driver, and the best place to live.”

The 5-minute survey is now available online. It closes on Friday, April 8, at 11:59 p.m. https://www.dreamlarge.org/sarasotabrandsurvey. For more information, contact Marketing and Outreach Coordinator Ciera Coleman at 941-263-6321.
