Gail Bowden, Senior Investment Advisor for SVN Commercial Advisory Group, has managed the $12.1 million sale of a massive motorcoach storage facility at 5921 McIntosh Road in Sarasota. Las Vegas-based Crystal View Capital bought the property that spans 5.56 acres and contains nearly 14,000 square feet of storage area. Bowden represented both Crystal View Capital and seller Becca Properties, LLC, a Sarasota-based company. The hurricane-proof building contains air conditioned units with 24-hour security, onsite-management, water disposal, wifi hotspots and bathrooms for many of the units. There’s also a washing area onsite with a vacuum station. In addition to all the indoor units, some outdoor storage is available on the property. The new owner will continue operating this facility as a deluxe RV storage site. Crystal View Capital is a private equity firm that acquires and manages self-storage facilities and manufactured housing communities. Bowden managed the transaction without ever putting the property on the market or doing any advertising. Her many connections in the community helped her bring together the buyer and seller early on.
