Exciting news! Longtime Sarasota Orchestra and local arts supporters Jack and Priscilla Schlegel have made a transformative $10 million gift to advance Sarasota Orchestra’s future Music Center at 5701 Fruitville Road. Jack and Priscilla moved to Sarasota in 1998 and have been active in the arts community ever since, using philanthropy to invest in the region’s cultural vitality. Their generosity propels the Orchestra closer to realizing its vision for its Music Center, which will include the Florida Gulf Coast’s first concert hall purpose-built for acoustic music.
