Hospital Teams Collect Food for Community

Business

Nurses, colleagues and volunteers who serve at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital and HCA Florida Venice Doctors Emergency collected non-perishable food items throughout the month of November. Close to 300 pounds of cans, boxes and bags of shelf-stable food items were donated. At Venice Doctors Emergency, the community was also invited to drop off their donations and almost 100 pounds were collected there. All the food was donated to All Faiths Food Bank, which serves those in need in Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
