SRQ Magazine | April 2016
Looking for the true breakfast of champions? Station 400 reigns supreme yet again with back-to-back victories in one of SRQ’s most popular categories. Locals went nuts for the Truffle Eggs Benedict. The Sun Garden Café rises a spot to first runner-up this year with much made of the biscuits and gravy, while Toasted Mango and Broken Egg Café round out the runners-up. —PL
Bill Cornelius (on Station 400): Station 400’s food is always fresh and delicious. Also love the outside seating and the historic railroad decor. Service is always great. Elena Ciaccio (on Sun Garden Cafe): The food is outstanding. I get the Malibu Press every single time, and it has never failed me. They are consistent with great customer service with a very warm, happy atmosphere. I recommend it to anybody—local or not! Meghan Devine (on Sun Garden Cafe): Sun Garden Cafe has a beautiful dining atmosphere. The patio is a great place to enjoy breakfast! You can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu, but the best dishes are the seafood Benedict and the biscuits with wavy gravy. George J. Martin Jr. (on Toasted Mango): The food is consistently good and fresh with lots of fun choices and the service is good and pleasant.
