Foundation to Distribute $100,000 to Teachers

The Manatee Education Foundation will distribute $100,000 in grants to 222 Manatee District teachers when the Foundation hosts its Ready for School Rally. The rally will kick-off the 2014-2015 school year and will serve as both a pep rally and corporate giving event to celebrate and reward teachers whose daily efforts in the classroom shape the future of our community. Area community members, businesses and organizations have been contributing money towards the Ready for School Rally Grants program through the annual Partners in Education program.
