Palmetto City Commission: The board meets today to discuss land regulations governing pain management clinics, as well as the potential zoning on medical marijuana facilities should voters legalize such use of the substance this year. The meeting begins at 7pm at City Hall.
Venice City Council: The board meets Tuesday and will consider awarding a contract for wayfinding signage in the city to Creative Sign Designs and for Pinebrook resurfacing and bridge repair to Ajax Paving Industries. The meeting begins at 9am at City Hall.
Sarasota County Commission: The board meets Wednesday to vote on changes to the Sarasota 2050 Plan, including changes to the way fiscal neutrality is enforced and other zoning ordinances changes. The evening session begins at 5:01pm at the Sarasota County Administration Center.
