Benjamin R. Hanan, managing partner of the Sarasota office of Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick, has been named co-chair of the firm’s eight-member management committee.Hanan, who heads up the firm’s Sarasota office, is a corporate lawyer and accountant. He is the 2015 board chair of Gulf Coast Community Foundation, past chair of the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County and a current director. He also serves on the boards of other non-profit organizations in the Sarasota County region.
