Dr. Dee Stephenson of Stephenson Eye Associates in Venice was recently elected for a two-year term as president of the American College of Eye Surgeons at the organization’s annual meeting in Puerto Rico. Stephenson is an ophthalmic surgeon with experience in micro-incisional refractive cataract surgery and premium intraocular lenses. She works on research and development in the creation of specialized surgical instrumentation and techniques, as well as the development of intra-ocular lenses.
