Governor Rick Scott announced the reappointment of Michael Moran to the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Moran, 46, of Sarasota, is the owner of Blue Water Insurance Group. He currently serves as a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Florida Association of Insurance Agents. He previous served as a member of the Sarasota County Planning Commission. Moran received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University. He is reappointed for a term ending March 1, 2019.
