Doctors Hospital of Sarasota hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for an emergency and operating room expansion. This project is the next phase of a planned $17-million renovation. When complete, the Emergency Department will offer 19 private exam rooms, as well as an updated waiting area and new ambulance canopy. The operating room expansion project adds two new operating rooms and expands a sterile storage area. These new operating rooms will complement the hospital’s robotics surgery program.
