Dr. Michael Schandorf-Lartey was named the 2015 Physician of the Year at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. The annual Physician of the Year winner is chosen by the employees of Doctors Hospital through an anonymous nomination process. Schandorf attended the University of Ghana Medical School. Upon graduation with his medical degree in 1993, Schandorf completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, Maryland. Schandorf is a diplomat with the American Board of Internal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
