Fight summer learning loss and fuel the curiosity of young minds all summer long with Suncoast Science Center’s Faulhaber Fab Lab summer camps! The inaugural summer camp season kicked off on June 12 and a variety of programs will run through August 14. Children entering grades 4-8 can try their hands at a number of scientific disciplines in the STEM fields- science, technology, engineering, and math- all of which will be infused with an artistic flair. “Children are naturally curious and love to learn,” said Ping Faulhaber, SSC’s Executive Director. “Not only will these summer explorations be fun and educational, they’ll also fuel a continuing curiosity for science, and we hope, will inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math.” This summers camp offerings include: Lego Mania, Girls Engineering Workshops, Robotics Lab, Fab Creations, Electrolab, and Awesome Arduino. These week-long camps are $150 and there are only 15 students per session, so make sure and sign up before the spots are full.
