J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp., a Venice-based construction company that provides a full range of services, is wrapping up site improvements at George Mullen Activity Center for the City of North Port. Currently in phase two of the project, with an estimated $255,000 budget, J.E. Charlotte has installed additional storm drainage piping and inlets, added new concrete sidewalks at the activity center and on City Hall Boulevard and planted palm trees along the sidewalk from George Mullen Activity Center to City Hall Boulevard. The construction team also graded around the football field and the activity center and added new streetlights to City Hall Boulevard along with electrical power pedestals for future events.
