Michael Donald Edwards, artistic director for the Asolo Rep Theatre, will receive Equality Florida’s highest honor, the Voice For Equality Award, at the organization’s annual Suncoast Celebration on November 21. The award is for the American Character Project, entering its fourth season at Asolo Repertory Theatre.The Suncoast Celebration event will begin at 5pm atop the Palm Avenue Parking Garage in downtown Sarasota.
