The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota has re-opened its ballroom and meeting spaces, which were renovated this summer as part of the hotel’s property-wide “Reimagination.” The hotel’s Grand Ballroom and eight additional meeting spaces have been completely transformed. The centerpiece of the Ballroom transformation is the custom carpet design that was inspired by a mosaic on the grounds of the Ca’d’Zan, set on a background of constellations that feel like the night sky. This carpet is a link to the new guest room décor as well as to that of Jack Dusty, the hotel’s restaurant, bringing to mind sailors navigating their routes to Sarasota by reading the stars.
