Sarasota Chalk Festival: Defending Champions

Inside The Brand

It might not be Thursday yet, but we're throwing back to the 2015 Best of SRQ Local Competition when Sarasota Chalk Festival took home the distinction for Best Festival. As the event is open now through November 16, we thought this was the best time to remind you to log on and vote for your favorite festival. Luckily for local residents, there's a host of them to choose from. If film and entertainment are your speed, cast your ballot in favor of your favorite local film festival. Love food and wine? Mention Forks and Corks in the 2016 competition. If you're more inclined to visit cultural festivals, let us know what you thought of RIAF this year or the Harvey Milk Festival.

Last year, reader Tim Holliday let us know why he supported Sarasota Chalk Festival for the win, "It is a great way to get a bunch of the community out to see some great art in a great setting with beautiful weather. I love the 3D art which is so cool. I like that the space was expanded and that there are local artists and kids involved as well."

The 2016 Best of SRQ Local polls are open now through February 15, 2016 at SRQMAG.COM/bestofsrq. Don't forget to vote for your favorite!
